PHOTO NEWS: NNPC Ltd. promotes investment in CNG value chain
NNPC Ltd. has highlighted the economic and environmental benefits of adopting compressed natural gas (CNG) as a cleaner, more affordable fuel alternative.
The company is encouraging stakeholders to take advantage of government policies on clean energy by investing in the entire CNG value chain.
This message was delivered by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., Mr. Olufemi Soneye, during the Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit (NDIS) held in Abuja on Tuesday. Soneye, represented by Mrs. Oluwakemi Olumuyiwa, Head of Relationship and Stakeholder Management, emphasized NNPC’s role in launching CNG mother stations in selected locations through pilot programs.
These initiatives, Soneye explained, are part of broader efforts to stimulate investment in sectors like gas-to-power, gas processing and distribution, LNG, CNG, and petrochemicals. Such investments aim to expand access to affordable, sustainable energy across Nigeria.
Hosted by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), the Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit connects diaspora investors and other stakeholders interested in exploring investment opportunities within Nigeria.
