PHOTO NEWS: NUPRC commissions Otakikpo crude oil export terminal

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) said it has commissioned the Otakikpo Crude Oil Export Terminal, the first fully indigenous onshore terminal in over 50 years.
The commission marked a new chapter for Nigeria’s upstream oil and gas sector.

NUPRC in a tweet on X lists fast fact of Otakikpo Terminal that comprises of:
• Storage Capacity: 750,000 bbl (expandable to 3 million)
• Pumping Capacity: Up to 360,000 bpd
• First Export: June 2025
• Volume Exported: 1+ million barrels
• Stranded Fields Benefiting: 40+
• Reserves Unlocked: 3+ billion barrels
