The Secretary of State to The Vatican, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, hosted President Bola Tinubu to dinner a few hours after the Nigerian leader arrived in Rome on Saturday.
Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a post on x.com.
The President is in Rome, Italy for the official inauguration of Pope Leo XIV, scheduled for Sunday, May 18, 2025.
By his inauguration, the new Pope, Leo XIV becomes the 267th Bishop of Rome and the newly elected leader of the Roman Catholic Church.
