Police arrest three suspects with human parts in Ogun

Operatives of the Zone 2 Police Command, comprising Lagos and Ogun states, have apprehended Moshood Najimdeen ‘m’ at his residence in Oke-Ola area of Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State with two suspected human hearts.
Confirming the arrest, the Spokeswoman for the Zone 2, SP Ayuba Tunni Umma stated that the human parts were discovered during a search at his residence.
Umman added, “during interrogation, the suspect implicated one Adebanjo Wasiu ‘m’, whom he claimed to have paid Fifty Thousand Naira (₦50,000.00k) to assist in obtaining the two human hearts.
“Adebanjo Wasiu ‘m’, in turn, pointed to one Segun Asunni ‘m’, as the source of the hearts.
“Investigation has commenced into the alleged offence while the two suspected human hearts have been sent to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) for thorough examination and confirmation, further findings will be communicated”.
Umma said that AIG Ari Muhammed Ali implored residents to remain vigilant and promptly report any form of unwholesome activities in their respective areas to the nearest Police formation within their locality.
“Meanwhile he echoes his commitment to ensuring safety of lives and property of residents of Lagos and Ogun States” Umma stated.
