Presidency clarifies Tinubu’s minor stumble in Ankara, rules out health concerns

The Presidency has dismissed concerns over President Bola Tinubu’s wellbeing following a brief incident in Ankara, Türkiye.
On Tuesday, Presidential Spokesperson Mr Bayo Onanuga explained that the President merely lost his balance after stepping on a metal object on the floor, describing the occurrence as minor and inconsequential.
“It was a mere stumble, thank God, not a fall,” Mr Onanuga said, urging the public and media to avoid sensationalising the incident.
“The President stepped on a metal object on the floor, which made him lose his balance. This is not a big deal, except for those who want to make mischief out of the fleeting incident,” he added.
The clarification comes amid growing public interest following the President’s brief moment of imbalance during his official engagements in the Turkish capital.
