Presidency inaugurates Youth Liaison Officers across Nigeria

In a move to strengthen the implementation of youth-oriented programs nationwide, the Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Youth Initiatives (Monitoring and Delivery), Ms. Titilope Gbadamosi, has inaugurated Youth Initiatives Liaison Officers (YILOs) in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The newly commissioned officers are expected to monitor and coordinate the delivery of federal youth programs, ensuring they align with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. These programs include the Student Loan Scheme, Consumer Credit Corporation, Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) Program, Skill-Up Artisans Programme (SUPA), Nigerian Youth Academy (NIYA), National Youth Talent Export Programme (NATEP), Micro and Small Business Loan, Housing Initiatives, and the Nano-Business Support scheme.
According to Ms. Gbadamosi, the YILOs will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the government and young Nigerians by ensuring these initiatives reach the grassroots and address the specific needs of the youth.
The inaugural meeting for the Youth Initiatives Liaison Officers was held in collaboration with Special Advisers and Assistants on Youth Development to State Governors. The meeting, which featured both physical and virtual attendance, set the stage for coordinated efforts in advancing youth-focused programs across the country.
