President Tinubu celebrates Rotimi Amaechi at 60

President Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a statement released on Monday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, President Tinubu praised Amaechi’s service to the nation, noting his “invaluable contributions” as a former Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly and two-term Governor of Rivers State. The President also acknowledged Amaechi’s leadership role as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum during his tenure as governor.

Amaechi later served for eight years as Minister of Transportation under former President Muhammadu Buhari, where he oversaw key infrastructure projects in the rail and maritime sectors.

President Tinubu wished the former minister continued success in his political journey and prayed for God’s grace and many more fruitful years.
