President Tinubu hosts Edo governor-elect Okpebholo at Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu is currently hosting Edo State governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.

Okpebholo, who recently won the Edo State gubernatorial election, was accompanied to the meeting by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, and several APC governors.

Key party figures in attendance include the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, along with prominent APC governors such as Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Usman Ododo (Kogi), and Dapo Abiodun (Ogun).

Also present at the meeting were Senator Adams Oshiomhole, who represents Edo North Senatorial District, and Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu.

The gathering follows the recent declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirming Okpebholo as the winner of the Edo governorship election, held on Saturday.
