Sanwo-Olu congratulates Bishop Oyedepo at 70

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and Presiding Bishop of Faith Tabernacle in Nigeria, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

In a statement released on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu described Bishop Oyedepo as an epitome of honesty, dedication, and service, praising his decades of selfless service in God’s kingdom and his significant philanthropic contributions.

Sanwo-Olu highlighted Bishop Oyedepo’s exceptional leadership and his role in building one of the largest spiritual institutions in the world, where millions of followers of Jesus Christ worship both in Nigeria and internationally.

He commended the bishop’s diligence, dedication, and unwavering obedience to God, which have earned him a reputation as a role model to millions.

The governor also acknowledged Bishop Oyedepo’s contributions to education in Nigeria through the establishment of several educational institutions owned by the Living Faith Church, emphasizing the positive impact his ministry has had on society.

“On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I congratulate the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and Presiding Bishop of the Faith Tabernacle in Nigeria, Bishop David Oyedepo, on his 70th birthday,” Governor Sanwo-Olu said.

“Bishop Oyedepo is a respected international cleric who has made a significant impact not only in Nigeria but around the world through his ministry and philanthropic gestures. His teachings on faith-based biblical principles have transformed many lives, especially those of his followers.”

As Bishop Oyedepo marks this milestone, Governor Sanwo-Olu prayed for God’s continued grace and strength for him to carry on his mission of spreading the gospel, serving humanity, and ministering to the poor and broken. He wished the bishop good health and abundant blessings as he continues his work in God’s vineyard.
