President Tinubu to depart for Paris on working visit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart for Paris, France, today for a short working visit to assess his administration’s midterm performance and key achievements.

According to the presidency, Tinubu will use the retreat to review ongoing reforms and strategize for his administration’s second anniversary, aiming to deepen economic policies and accelerate national development.

The visit comes amid Nigeria’s recent economic strides, with the Central Bank of Nigeria reporting a sharp rise in net foreign exchange reserves to $23.11 billion, up from $3.99 billion in 2023—an indication of the impact of the administration’s fiscal reforms.

While in Paris, the President will remain actively engaged with his team and continue to oversee governance remotely.

He is expected to return to Nigeria in about two weeks.
