President Tinubu visits Anambra to commission key projects

By Kunle Sanni

President Bola Tinubu will on Thursday embark on a one-day working visit to Anambra State, where he is scheduled to commission several major infrastructure projects executed by the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

A key highlight of the visit is the commissioning of the Emeka Anyaoku Institute for International Studies and Diplomacy at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Named after the former Commonwealth Secretary-General, the institute aims to enhance academic research and diplomatic training in the region.

President Tinubu will also unveil the Solution Fun City, which includes the Anambra Country Club, Family Fun House, Water Park, and an Amusement Park — all developed to boost tourism and recreation in the state.

Other projects slated for commissioning include the Government House Mini City, the Anambra Tower of Light, and the Monument of the Statues of Five Anambra Heroes, which celebrate the state’s rich cultural heritage.

The governor will host a grand reception in honour of the president, rounding off the brief but significant visit.

President Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja later in the day.
