Socialite Sam Larry injured as bouncer dies in Lagos road accident
Nigerian music promoter and socialite, Sam Larry, has reportedly been hospitalised after he was involved in a fatal road accident along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in Lagos.
The crash, which reportedly occurred in the early hours of Saturday, involved Sam Larry’s vehicle colliding with a trailer.
According to reports, the accident claimed the life of his bouncer, who died at the scene, while Sam Larry sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
Videos and photographs circulating on social media showed the vehicle badly damaged following the collision.
Nigerian comedian and master of ceremonies, Mario Wazobia, appealed for prayers for Sam Larry in an Instagram post on Saturday.
Sharing photos from the accident scene, he wrote: “PRAY FOR SAMMYLARRY”.
“More photos from the early morning accident involving socialite Sam Larry and his bouncer. Reports indicate the bouncer tragically lost his life at the scene while Sam Larry has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition,” he added.
