Soludo pledges APGA support for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has pledged the support of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, promising to campaign for the President around the clock.

Soludo made the declaration on Wednesday at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council at the State House, Abuja, where he was named Tinubu’s campaign coordinator in Anambra State.

The governor, who is a leading figure in APGA, said his party supported Tinubu because it believed in the President’s leadership and reform agenda.

“Count on us, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, 24/7,” Soludo told the President. “We are with you because we believe.”

He expressed confidence in Tinubu’s return for a second term, arguing that another four years would enable the administration to accelerate its transformation agenda and translate economic reforms into shared prosperity.

“We are talking about when you get into the second term,” Soludo said, describing the next phase as an opportunity to move from economic stability and reforms to broader prosperity.

The governor also identified national unity, security and shared prosperity as key reasons for backing Tinubu, describing the President as a symbol of those aspirations.

Soludo acknowledged the difficulties associated with the administration’s economic policies but defended the decisions taken by Tinubu, saying they were necessary to put the country on a better path.

“The path you have chosen, that you have had the courage to take, is the difficult but necessary path,” he said.
