Tinubu appoints MKO Abiola’s son, Jami’u as SSA on Linguistics/Foreign Matters

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named Jami’u Abiola as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Linguistics and Foreign Matters. Jami’u is the son of late business mogul, Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, popularly called MKO Abiola.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

The appointment, which is to take effect on November 14, aligns with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc) Act 2008, as amended.

Prior to his new role, Jami’u Abiola served as Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties in the Office of the Vice President.

According to the statement, President Tinubu directed Abiola to collaborate closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and leverage his extensive experience in his new capacity.
