Tinubu arrives in Kigali ahead of Africa CEO Forum summit

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Kigali ahead of the 2026 Africa CEO Forum, where African business and political leaders are set to discuss strategies for accelerating economic growth across the continent.
Tinubu touched down in Kigali at about 1:58 p.m. on Wednesday and was received by officials before proceeding to the Urugwiro Presidential Village, where he was welcomed by President Paul Kagame.

The Africa CEO Forum, scheduled for May 14 and 15, is convening under the theme: “Scale or Fail: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership.”
The forum is expected to focus on the need for African industries to combine capital, infrastructure, and markets in order to compete effectively on a global scale.

Business executives, policymakers, and investors from across Africa are expected to attend the high-level gathering in Rwanda’s capital city.
