Tinubu celebrates Sanwo-Olu at 61, Gbajabiamila at 64

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on his 61st birthday, praising his leadership and contributions to the development of the state.

In a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President also felicitated his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, on his 64th birthday.

Tinubu joined members of Sanwo-Olu’s family, the Lagos State Executive Council, political associates and residents of the state in celebrating the governor, whom he described as a diligent and effective leader.

According to the President, Sanwo-Olu has successfully combined his private and public sector experience to achieve significant milestones in governance and advance the economic, infrastructural and cultural transformation of Lagos State.

He commended the governor for consolidating efforts to position Lagos as a vibrant global city and for strengthening its reputation as a centre of excellence.

The President also praised Sanwo-Olu’s loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting his commitment to inclusivity, diversity and political harmony in the state.

Tinubu prayed for continued good health, wisdom and a lasting legacy for the governor.

The President equally paid tribute to Gbajabiamila, describing him as a dedicated public servant whose contributions have strengthened Nigeria’s democracy and governance.
