Tinubu completes Umrah after rare access to Holy Kaaba

President Bola Tinubu has completed the lesser Hajj, known as Umrah, after being granted rare access to the Holy Kaaba in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, to offer prayers.
The President disclosed this on Monday in a post on his X account, where he announced the conclusion of his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Tinubu said he and members of his delegation had the “rare honour” of entering the Holy Kaaba, expressing gratitude to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for granting them the privilege.
He also thanked the Saudi leaders for their hospitality and “brotherly care” during the visit, describing the gesture as a reflection of the “enduring bonds of faith and friendship” between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
The President said he used the opportunity to pray for Nigeria and its citizens.
“In those sacred moments, I prayed for peace, unity and prosperity for our dear nation and for all Nigerians,” he said.
Tinubu added that he was “deeply grateful” to the Saudi monarch and Crown Prince for extending the privilege to him and members of his delegation.
