Tinubu congratulates Ogun APC governorship candidate Adeola on birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Senator Solomon Adeola on his birthday, describing the Ogun West lawmaker as a “dedicated public servant” and dependable political ally.

Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, currently represents Ogun West in the Senate and chairs the Senate Committee on Appropriations. He is the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Ogun State.

In a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu commended Adeola for his years of service to Ogun and Lagos states and Nigeria.

The President said Adeola’s “overwhelming nomination” as the APC flagbearer for the 2027 Ogun governorship election reflected his contributions and achievements.

“Senator Yayi, you are a dedicated public servant and a dependable political ally. Your commitment to Nigeria’s democratic development is worthy of commendation,” Tinubu said.

He added, “On this special day, I celebrate your years of service to our nation and your contributions to the growth and development of Ogun and Lagos States, and Nigeria at large.”

Tinubu also wished Adeola continued good health, wisdom and strength as he prepares to continue his political career.

“I wish you more years of good health, wisdom and strength as you continue to serve your people and our dear country, Nigeria,” the President said.
