Tinubu returns to Abuja after six-day visit to Lagos

President Bola Tinubu will return to Abuja on Monday evening after a six-day visit to Lagos.

The President’s planned departure for Abuja was announced on Monday in a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Tuesday, September 29, after spending his annual vacation in London and Paris.

The President marked Nigeria’s 66th Independence Day anniversary in Lagos on October 1, when he addressed the nation.

Later that day, he attended the national premiere of MKO, a documentary chronicling the life, political struggle and legacy of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola and the June 12 pro-democracy struggle.

Tinubu also visited the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Akiolu, at his Iga Iduganran Palace on Lagos Island on Sunday.
