Ubi Franklin condemns online bullying of Chioma Adeleke, threatens lawsuit

Music executive Ubi Franklin has condemned the alleged online bullying of Afro-pop star Davido’s wife, Chioma Adeleke, popularly known as Chef Chi, and threatened legal action against those involved.

Ubi, who serves as Chioma’s manager, made the announcement on his X page on Tuesday, alleging that some individuals had formed WhatsApp groups to troll and attack her online.

He said he, Chioma, and Davido are prepared to pursue legal action, insisting that those involved would have to account for their actions before law enforcement authorities.

“One after the other, you will explain to the law enforcement what Chef Chi had done to all of you, just opening groups to bully her,” he wrote.

“Her husband, me as her manager and the entire family now have your time, and we will follow the rules and you will be served.”

Ubi also described the messages circulating in the group chats as hurtful and malicious, stating that they were not acts of goodwill.

“You know people are evil right. The messages I see on this group chat are just heartbreaking,” he added.

Ubi Franklin is a Nigerian music artist manager, entrepreneur, TV show host and founder of record label Made Men Music Group (Triple MG) and Instant Apartment. He previously served as Special Adviser to former Cross River State Governor, Benedict Ayade, on Tourism.
