Uzodimma unveils Renewed Hope digital platform to tackle misinformation

The Director-General and National Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, has launched a new digital communication platform aimed at improving the dissemination of government policies and addressing misinformation around the President Bola Tinubu administration’s reforms.

The event, which held in Abuja, was attended by the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu, and RHA Director of Media and Publicity, Tunde Rahman, alongside other senior officials and coordinators of the initiative.

According to a statement issued on Sunday by Mr Rahman, Uzodimma, who spoke at the weekend unveiling of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ website and digital assets, said the platform reflects a modern approach to governance communication in an era where misinformation spreads quickly.

“This is not just a website; it is a dynamic, living platform—an aggregator of verified information, policy direction, and measurable progress,” Uzodimma said. “At its core is an updateable dashboard, providing real-time access to key economic metrics and performance indicators, enabling Nigerians to track, in clear terms, the progress of this administration’s reforms.”

The official website, www.rhambassadors.org, serves as a central hub for policy explainers, reform updates, and verified government information. It is also supported by integrated social media channels across Facebook, Instagram, X, and other platforms to ensure wider reach and real-time engagement with citizens.

Uzodimma explained that the initiative is designed to strengthen civic education and improve public understanding of government programmes, while also enhancing transparency.

He further highlighted the role of the Data Communication Centre (DCC), an AI-powered system that tracks public sentiment, processes feedback, and helps counter misinformation in real time.

According to him, the platform enables “a two-way communication system that captures citizen feedback and strengthens the clarity, consistency, and responsiveness of public messaging.”

The Governor also noted that the platform will translate complex governance data into accessible information for citizens, including updates on macroeconomic stability, revenue growth, infrastructure delivery, and social investment outcomes.

“Beyond transparency, this platform is designed as a tool for engagement,” Uzodimma said. “It creates a direct interface between government and citizens, allowing for feedback, participation, and a more informed national conversation around policy and development priorities. It ensures that communication is not one-directional, but interactive and responsive.”
