The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who died in London on Saturday.

In a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Sunday, the APC extended its heartfelt prayers and thoughts to Ubah’s family, constituents, and colleagues at the National Assembly.

“Our heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with his family, constituents, colleagues at the National Assembly, and the good people of Anambra State at this difficult time. We pray the Almighty God grants the soul of our departed party man, business magnate, and most distinguished lawmaker eternal rest. Amen,” the statement read.

Until his death, Ubah was a senator representing Anambra South in the 10th Senate. He was a deft politician and two-term federal lawmaker.

Ubah was also an astute businessman, philanthropist, and patriot. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil and founded Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club.

The political party described his passing as a massive loss, stating he will be dearly missed.
