BREAKING: APC heavyweights storm Osogbo for mega rally ahead of Osun poll

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State on Thursday held its mega rally in Osogbo, the state capital, in a final mobilisation drive for its governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of Saturday’s election.

The rally, held at Freedom Park, attracted the party’s national leaders, governors and supporters from across the state, with Senate President Godswill Akpabio representing President Bola Tinubu.

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, other APC governors and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, were among the party leaders who arrived in Osogbo for the event.

The rally came on the final day of the official campaign period ahead of the August 15 governorship election.

APC supporters from the 30 local government areas of the state had earlier gathered in large numbers at the venue ahead of the commencement of the rally.
