D’Banj names Davido, Rema, Burna Boy as best three in Afrobeats

Afrobeats singer D’banj has named Rema, Davido, and Burna Boy as his top three artistes in Nigeria.

D’banj, in an interview on the Adesope podcast, said Rema, Davido, and Burna Boy are the only artistes he is currently listening to.

Furthermore, D’banj praised Rema for his energy, Burna Boy for being intentional, and Davido for his humility and consistency.

“Shout out to Rema. I love Rema’s energy. You know, there’s this guy that I love a lot and he loves me too. He behaves as if tomorrow, if he wakes up, there’s no money—David is hustling like he doesn’t have money.

“And I think people should learn from how he carries himself, like he does not have a penny, yet he is so consistent. Then Burna Boy is too intentional—his live shows are amazing.”
