DSS arrests two dismissed ex-staff for alleged impersonation, fraud
The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested two dismissed former staff for allegedly parading themselves as personnel of the organisation while engaging in fraudulent activities.
In a press release posted on its X.com handle, the DSS said the two dismissed personnel of the Service, Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, were apprehended for allegedly “cloaking under the Service to engage in fraudulent activities” and will be prosecuted.
Before their eventual arrests, the DSS had published a disclaimer to notify and warn the public about their alleged unscrupulous activities to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
The organisation stated its resolve to publish the names of other dismissed ex-staff to safeguard the public from any potential criminal intentions they might harbour.
