God’s Blessing College triumphs in Oyo State Basketball Championship

God’s Blessing Comprehensive College, Yemetu, Ibadan, has emerged victorious in the Oyo State Inter-Secondary Basketball Championship, with the male team clinching the title.

In a thrilling final match, the Coach Kolapo Aminu-led team secured a hard-fought 26-23 victory against International School, University of Ibadan, after displaying resilience and tactical excellence.

With this triumph, God’s Blessing Comprehensive College’s male team has earned the honour of representing Oyo State at the Western Conference tournament in May.

The female team also delivered an impressive performance, finishing as runners-up in the female category, further cementing the school’s reputation for sporting excellence.

Speaking after the games, Coach Aminu praised his players for their dedication and teamwork.

“This achievement is a testament to our hard work, discipline, and commitment to the sport.

“We are excited to represent Oyo State at the Western Conference and will continue to strive for excellence,” he said.
