Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has expressed shock and sadness over the death of former Senator representing Katsina South, Bello Mandiya, who died on Monday at the age of 62.

Radda described Mandiya’s death as a great loss to Katsina State and Nigeria, particularly the people of Katsina South and the political community.

In a condolence message issued by his chief press secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the governor described the late senator as a committed public servant who contributed to the development of the state and the country.

“I received with shock and deep sadness the news of the death of Senator Bello Mandiya. His passing is a great loss to Katsina State and Nigeria,” Radda said.
