Jimoh Ibrahim presents Letter of Credence, says Tinubu will resolve all generational grievances
Newly appointed Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Jimoh Ibrahim, has formally presented his Letter of Credence at the United Nations, declaring that President Bola Tinubu is committed to resolving all generational grievances in Nigeria.
In the speech delivered during the presentation ceremony, Ibrahim stated: “President Bola Tinubu will resolve all generational grievances.”
He said the President remains focused on tackling insecurity and long-standing social challenges affecting the country, while promoting justice, peace and development.
Ibrahim added that Tinubu believes Nigeria’s mission at the UN would help strengthen efforts to address both domestic and international concerns.
According to him, “He is enthusiastic about my presence here, believing it will offer essential support to address security concerns both locally and internationally — such as religious conflicts and other crises, which stem from long-standing grievances.”
The envoy also said Nigeria would continue working with the United Nations and other global partners to promote peace and shared progress.
Highlighting the administration’s reform agenda, Ibrahim described recent economic policies as necessary steps toward national recovery and sustainable growth.
He noted that Nigeria remains committed to playing a leading role in Africa and supporting the core goals of the United Nations.
