Makinde retains Adebiyi as Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic’s council chairman

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has reappointed the Chairman and members of the Governing Council of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa.

Prof. Kazeem Adekunle Adebiyi, who was initially appointed on March 24, 2025, to complete the tenure of the late former chairman, Prof. Abiodun Adebowale Ojo, has been retained as chairman of the council.

Other reappointed members include Hon. Johnson Oladele, Alhaji Azeem Badmus, Engr. Oyetayo Ige, Mrs Alice Adedokun, and Mr Waziri Adekunle.

The reappointment was confirmed in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, PhD.

The state government said the decision was based on the need to sustain continuity and strengthen administrative stability within the institution.

In his remarks, Governor Makinde congratulated the chairman and members, urging them to intensify efforts toward improving academic standards and institutional development.

As directed, the new tenure takes effect from July 1, 2026 as the government makes broader reforms aimed at improving governance across state-owned tertiary institutions.
