Ondo Signage Agency collaborates with Environment Ministry to drive revenue

The Ondo State Signage And Advertisement Agency (OSSA) to collaborate with the State Ministry of Environment to beautify the state and improve on its revenue drive

The Chairman of Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency, Akinwande Akinrodoye in a meeting with the Ministry of Environment at the agency’s office, emphasised the importance of collaboration to beautify the state and enhance its revenue generation through the roundabouts.

According to him, the roundabouts in the states were built by the Ministry of Infrastructure, beautified by the Ministry of Environment while Signage And Advertisement Agency ensures that advertisements placed on them generate revenue to the State Government.

Akinrodoye, while responding to the request of the Ministry that a reputable company had approached the Ministry to beautify some roundabouts through corporate social responsibilities (CSR) said although the company would be assisting the ministry to do the beautifications, the Agency would collect moderate and appropriate revenue to government coffers.

The Chairman thanked the Administrative Secretary of the Ministry , Mr Olumide Kinga for deeming it fit to contact the Agency, noting that the Agency was ready to partner with the ministry to bring development to the state.

He said a few companies have been approaching the Agency on related matters and they have been receiving support and corporations from the Agency.

Earlier, the Administrative Secretary of Ondo State Ministry of Environment Mr Olumide Kinga who led a team of other Directors to the Agency had intimated the Chairman and other Management of the Agency on a proposal of a company to beautify a number of roundabouts in Akure metropolis through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Kinga said allowing the company to do the beautifications of the roundabouts is a relief to the government and a source of revenue to the state government through the Agency.
