Oyebanji flags-off “Ikun Milk Day” initiative, lauds improved increase in milk production

The governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, has flagged off the “Ikun Milk Day” initiative, a weekly milk supply to school children in Ikun.
Oyebanji in a post on his Facebook page on Thursday, said that the initiative was a gesture by Promasidor as part of its corporate social responsibility.


The post read ” I visited the Ikun Dairy Farm to inspect progress on this important public-private partnership between the Ekiti State Government and Promasidor Nigeria Limited. I was impressed with the growth we have achieved including more cows, a remarkable increase in milk production, and jobs for our people.


” We also flagged off the “Ikun Milk Day” initiative, a weekly milk supply to school children in Ikun, a laudable gesture by Promasidor as part of their corporate social responsibility”.

Oyebanji concluded ” Our administration remains focused on leveraging the potential of agribusiness to drive industrialisation and economic growth as well as deliver the true dividends of good governance to our people in line with our shared prosperity agenda”.
