PHOTO NEWS: Musawa calls for private sector collaboration to promote arts at event

The Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, attended the Plus 234 Art Fair in Lagos on Monday.
The event, organized by Soto Gallery in collaboration with Ecobank, celebrated Nigeria’s rich artistic talent.

During a guided tour of the exhibition led by Tola Akerele, Director General of the Wole Soyinka Theatre, the Minister experienced firsthand how storytelling and artistic expression are shaping a new cultural narrative.


She emphasized the importance of synergy between the private sector, stakeholders, and government in building a thriving creative economy.


With continued collaboration, she noted that an enabling environment could be fostered, allowing talent to flourish and ensuring that art remains a powerful medium for telling Nigeria’s story.
