Remi Tinubu influenced creation of Abaranje secondary school – Hon Kehinde Joseph
The lawmaker representing Alimosho Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Kehinde Joseph, has attributed the establishment of Abaranje Secondary School to the influence of Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu.
He made this known during his welcome address at the commissioning of the school in Abaranje, located in the Ikotun area of Lagos.
According to the lawmaker, the First Lady, in 2015, charged him and other cabinet members to remain committed to serving the people diligently.
He noted that the directive left a lasting impression on him and has continued to guide his actions in public service over the years.
“In 2015, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, charged us to always put the people first and work tirelessly for their benefit, and that message has remained with me and shaped my commitment to service,” he said.
Furthermore, Joseph explained that the establishment of the school is part of efforts to improve access to quality education and contribute to community development.
He also formally dedicated the project to the students and residents of Abanraje, describing it as a collective asset that must be preserved.
The lawmaker, therefore, urged beneficiaries to take ownership of the facility and ensure its proper maintenance for the benefit of future generations.
