Shettima to launch Outsource To Nigeria Initiative in Gombe

…OTNI to create 2,000 jobs for Gombe youths

The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, will on Monday, March 4th launch the Outsource To Nigeria Initiative (OTNI) and commission the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Centre in Gombe State

The BPO centre, the first in the Northeast sub-region and the biggest of its kind in Nigeria is expected to provide not less than 2,000 job opportunities to the youths of Gombe state in line with the visionary leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

With the establishment of the BPO centre in Gombe,  the state is poised to become a hub for outsourcing services, leveraging the skills and potential of its youths. 

The OTNI is said to be a catalyst for change in the business process and technology-enabled outsourcing sector and the fastest route to job security for the teeming youths in Gombe State and Nigeria at large.

A statement by the Director-General (Press Affairs), Gombe State Government House, Ismaila Uba Misilli said, by keying into this initiative, the Inuwa Yahaya-led administration has further demonstrated its commitment to providing sustainable employment opportunities and empowering the youths to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development and progress.

Key stakeholders from the public and private sectors within and outside the country are expected at the event.
