Six schools qualify for Kwara Tax Club Quiz finals, battle for N2.5m

Six secondary schools have advanced to the finals of the 2025 Tax Club Quiz Competition, organized by the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development.

The competition, designed to promote tax education and nurture tax-compliant citizens among young people, reached its semi-final stage on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. The stage featured a Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted online, with twelve participating schools monitored remotely by the KW-IRS Tax Club Advocacy Committee and officials from the Ministry of Education.

The six schools that qualified for the finals are St. Anthony’s Secondary School, Ilorin; Roemichs International Schools, Ilorin; Ansar-Ud-Deen College, Offa; Ansarul Islam Grammar School, Ijomu Oro; Shepherd School, Lafiagi; and Government Secondary School, Lafiagi.

The finalists will compete for a grand prize of N2.5 million at the final stage of the competition, scheduled to hold in Ilorin on November 6, 2025.
