Sunday Igboho visits Olubadan, thanks him over removal from FG’s wanted list

Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, in appreciation of the monarch’s role in securing his removal from the federal government’s list of wanted persons.

The Monday visit came shortly after reports confirmed that Igboho had been delisted from the government’s wanted list, marking a significant development in his legal and political situation.

At his Bodija residence, Oba Ladoja received Igboho, who personally thanked the monarch for his intervention and fatherly support during his period of detention outside Nigeria.

Igboho recounted how Oba Ladoja’s actions provided reassurance and guidance during his ordeal, describing the monarch’s support as both comforting and encouraging.

In response, the Olubadan emphasised the importance of dialogue and patience as the most effective tools for resolving disputes.

He urged all parties to prioritize peace and avoid actions that could threaten harmony within Yorubaland and the country at large.

The monarch also highlighted the lessons that challenges bring, advising that wisdom lies in learning from difficulties. “Where there is life, there is hope. Every challenge comes with lessons,” Oba Ladoja said.
