Tinubu celebrates Information Minister Mohammed Idris at 60

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, on his 60th birthday, praising his contributions to public communication and nation-building.

In a statement personally signed by the President on Friday, Tinubu described Idris as an excellent communicator, seasoned public relations expert, and media leader who has brought credibility and professionalism to the administration’s messaging.

The President highlighted Idris’s longstanding influence in the media industry, noting his role as founder and publisher of Blueprint Newspapers, as well as chairman of a successful public relations and broadcast outfit.

Tinubu also recalled the Minister’s service as General Secretary of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria, describing him as a patriot dedicated to national development.

Commending his diligence, the President credited Idris for effectively communicating government policies and promoting the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda nationwide.
