Tinubu to commission projects in Akwa Ibom, attend APC rally in Rivers

President Bola Tinubu will on Friday begin a two-state visit to Akwa Ibom and Rivers states, where he is expected to commission several infrastructure projects and attend political rallies.
Tinubu will depart Abuja on November 6 for Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, where he will commission projects completed by Governor Umo Eno’s administration before attending a political rally.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the projects include the new International Terminal Building, International Airport Hospital and Ibom Aviation Village, all located at the Victor Attah International Airport.
Others are the Airport-Okopedi Road, linking communities in Nsit Atai and Okobo Local Government Areas, and Ring Road 3, which connects Idoro Road to Ikot Ekpene Road through Uyo and Ibiono Ibom.
The President is also expected to commission the AKWA-GIS Office Complex, the Command and Control Centre and the ARISE Palm Resort.
Governor Eno has declared Friday a work-free day to enable residents to participate in the reception for the President.
Tinubu will leave Uyo for Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday to attend the All Progressives Congress rally.
The rally will be his third since the party commenced its presidential re-election campaign with a flag-off in Kaduna last month.
