UBA awaits CBN approval on H1 2025 results
United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc on Wednesday notified shareholders that its audited result and accounts for half year (H1) ended June 30, 2025 will be released once the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) grants approval.
The group company secretary/legal counsel, UBA, Bili Odum in a signed statement noted that the pan-African H1 2025 financial statements was approved by the Board of Directors on Thursday, August 14, 2025.
“However, the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is required before the release of the H1 Audited Financial Statements.
“The Bank has requested for an extension of the publication of the Half[1]Year Audited Financial Statements from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and obtained approval to publish same on or before September 30, 2025,” the statement explained.
The pan-African financial, however, assured that if the approval from the CBN is received earlier, the H1 2025 Audited Financial Statements would be released to the public earlier than the period approved by the NGX.
The stock price of UBA on Wednesday appreciated by 0.42 per cent to close at N48.00 per share on NGX.
