WAFU U-20: Chelle urges discipline as Flying Eagles step up preparations

Super Eagles Head Coach, Eric Chelle, has urged Nigeria’s U-20 team, the Flying Eagles, to remain focused as they intensify preparations for the WAFU B U-20 Men’s Championship scheduled to take place in Côte d’Ivoire next month.
Chelle gave the charge on Friday morning when he visited the team at the main bowl of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, shortly after their friendly match against Bussdor United. The Flying Eagles recorded an emphatic 5-0 victory in the encounter.
Addressing the players, the Super Eagles tactician stressed the importance of discipline, concentration, and obedience to instructions in achieving success.
“If you want to succeed and go far in achieving your dreams, you must remain focused. Secondly, listen attentively to your coaches,” Chelle said.
“If you do these things, the sky will definitely be your starting point, and your chances of succeeding will be very high,” he added.
In his response, Flying Eagles Head Coach, Aliyu Zubairu, thanked Chelle for the visit and words of encouragement.
He assured the Super Eagles coach that the team remains committed to its preparations and is determined to make a strong impression at the forthcoming regional tournament.
