Workers trapped as building collapses in Kano

In the Kuntau area of Gwale Local Government Area in Kano State, a building collapse has left an unspecified number of workers trapped under rubble.

Sources report at least 11 individuals are stuck amidst the debris.

According to sources also, rescue operations are presently in full swing, with officials from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) already having transported two rescued persons to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.

Meanwhile, the ongoing excavation efforts are aimed at freeing those still trapped, though the exact casualty count remains unconfirmed.

Unfortunately, amidst the rescue efforts, some bodies have already been recovered from the scene.
