The holiday is intended to give teachers in the state a break in recognition of their contributions to education and human capital development.

The governor extended his best wishes to teachers across Kwara and commended them for their efforts and resilience in the discharge of their duties.

AbdulRazaq also acknowledged the role of teachers in developing human capital and advancing the state’s education sector.
