The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the August 15, 2026 governorship election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, has rejoiced with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-al-Fitr celebration.
In a message he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Oyebamiji congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
He urged them to sustain the virtues of love, peace, unity and good neighbourliness as espoused in the Holy Quran and exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
Oyebamiji also called for renewed devotion to faith and adherence to the teachings of the festive period.
He commended residents of Osun for their support, promising to raise the bar of governance if elected governor.
He assured citizens of an inclusive, participatory and people-oriented government, urging them to expect good governance if voted as governor in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
“As we celebrate Eid-al-Fitr in our dear state and across the world, I sincerely rejoice with our brothers and sisters in Islam on the successful completion of the precious month of Ramadan,” he said.
