APC campaign council condoles Yari over sister’s death

The Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has condoled with its Director-General, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, over the death of his sister in Zamfara State.

Faleke, who represents Ikeja Federal Constituency and serves as Secretary of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council, disclosed this in a post on his X account on Friday.

He said the condolence visit brought together senior political leaders, members of the PCC and associates who joined Yari and his family in mourning the deceased.

“Today, we joined our Director-General, Distinguished Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, and his family in Zamfara to mourn the passing of his beloved sister,” Faleke said.

Among those who attended the condolence visit were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; Deputy Director-General of the PCC, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke; National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ajibola Basiru; and former APC National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Faleke said the gathering provided an opportunity for the political leadership and members of the PCC to stand in solidarity with Yari and his family during the period of mourning.

“We expressed our heartfelt condolences and prayed for the repose of her soul, while asking Almighty Allah to grant Senator Yari and the entire family the strength, comfort and fortitude to bear this painful loss,” he said.
