BREAKING: Aiyedatiwa reappoints Fasoranti as Ondo SSG

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reappointed Dr Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government, restoring him to the office he vacated earlier this year.
The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, disclosed the development in a statement on Tuesday, noting that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Fasoranti earlier resigned from the position on March 30, 2026.
Announcing the decision, Adeniyan said, “Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has approved the reappointment of Dr Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government.”
He added that Fasoranti’s experience in governance, public administration and policy implementation played a major role in his reappointment.
The statement quoted the governor as urging the reappointed SSG to “justify the confidence reposed in him by serving the people of Ondo State with dedication, integrity and commitment.”
The governor also charged Fasoranti to work towards advancing the administration’s Our Ease agenda as he resumes his duties with immediate effect.
