Colleagues mourn Emmanuel France’s death

Veteran Nollywood actor Emmanuel France has passed away.
The news of his death was announced by his colleague, filmmaker Femi Ogedengbe, on social media. Ogedengbe confirmed France’s passing on Monday, sharing memories of his time with the actor.
He wrote: “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France. One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director. R.I.P.”
France was celebrated for his roles in films such as Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director.
As of the time of this report, the cause of France’s death, at over 60 years old, remains unconfirmed.
His passing has left fans and colleagues in shock and grief, coming just days after the death of another Nollywood actor, Big Larry.
