Dele Gold to be buried on Sept 19

Eight days after the passing of popular musician Jacob Dele Agbeyo, also known as Dele Gold, his remains will be buried on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

WesternPost gathered that the date was announced by the burial committee, which was set up a few days after Dele Gold’s passing.

According to the burial program released by the Agbeyo family, the late singer’s burial rites will begin today, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, with a service of songs, Christian wake-keep, candlelight procession, and Artiste Night at the Victoria Garden Conference Centre, Ikeja.

The burial rites will continue on Thursday with a commendation service and lying-in-state at his residence, 5 Abiodun Ejigbadero Avenue, off Aina Ajayi Avenue, Ekoro Road, Abule Egba, Lagos.

This will be followed by an interment at an undisclosed cemetery.

The late Dele Gold passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, after a brief illness at the age of 48.

He is survived by his wife and children.
