The Harbour Point in Victoria Island, Lagos, became the center of attention as it hosted the high-profile wedding of Victor Egbetokun, son of the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and his bride, Anjolaoluwa Oriyomi on Saturday.
The wedding ceremony, held at a Church earlier in the day, saw Victor and Anjolaoluwa exchange vows in front of family, friends and a star-studded guest list that included some of Nigeria’s most influential figures across politics, business, and entertainment.

Prominent attendees included Vice President Kashim Shettima, Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, and several governors and ministers. Among them were the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy, Minister of State for Police Affairs, Imaan Ibrahim Suleiman, and the Chairman of the NNPC Board, Pius Akinyelure. The gathering also featured top financial executives like UBA Chairman Tony Elumelu, as well as Nollywood actors, socialites, and traditional rulers.
Anchored by popular comedian TA, the celebration continued with a lavish reception at Harbour Point, where guests enjoyed fine dining and live performances.

The festivities did not end there; the wedding after-party took place at the exclusive club 2.45, where the sons and daughters of Nigeria’s elite gathered to celebrate late into the night.
The multi-day event began on Thursday with a traditional engagement ceremony, highlighting the couple’s cultural heritage. The bride, Anjolaoluwa, is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Olatubosun Oriyomi, and together with Victor, the couple was celebrated by a who’s who of Nigerian society, making the occasion one of the most talked-about events of the year.
