Francis Duru loses son, four months before 16th birthday

The Nigerian film industry is mourning the tragic loss of Ifeanyi Duru, the son of popular Nollywood actor Francis Duru.
The heartbreaking news has left Duru in shock and grief as he comes to terms with this unimaginable tragedy.
Duru shared the devastating news in an Instagram post on Thursday morning, August 8.
He wrote, “My champ!! My lion… You fought like a lion… If this is the way He wants it, so be it. I still judge you faithful. Ifeanyi, my champ… I will miss you, son… I will forever love you… Rest in peace, son… Rest… I give you thanks, Lord!”
Ifeanyi, who celebrated his last birthday in December, would have turned 16 in just a few months.
Francis Duru, a respected and beloved figure in Nollywood, is known for his significant contributions to the industry through his numerous roles in films and television.
