Nollywood rising star, Sharon Okpamen, passes on after childbirth

Nollywood rising actress Sharon Okpamen has died after childbirth.

According to multiple reports, the actress passed away following childbirth.

The Nollywood community has been in mourning since the news of her demise broke.

The sad occurrence was announced by film producer Stanley Ontop on Sunday, August 25.

Stanley stated that Sharon tragically passed away after spending days in a coma following childbirth.

He wrote: “Nollywood actor and producer Sharon Okpamen has unfortunately passed away. It’s a sad day for Nollywood and the Edo entertainment industry.

“Sharon, who was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry.

“May her soul rest in perfect peace, Amen. Sharon Okpamen, it can only get better. Shalom!”
